This simple script manipulates the title (as defined in the Database) and animates it, from the top of the screen to the centre of the screen right above the menu.

The script was written in RMVXA Lite (using the "RMVX workaround") specifically for one of the games I was working on, Paranormality 1: Darkling before the Trial ran out, although this particular animation is no longer used for the project.
The script’s main feature is an animated title (the project title as set in the Database).
The other feature (as shown in the video demo) is where the Continue option is disabled from the Title Menu if there are no saved games. It will become an option when there are one or more saved games available.
The script is plug-and-play, so no additional requirements are needed. All of the necessary settings can be changed in the script itself.
The following options can be configured:
- Y Position – The starting Y-coordinate of the title
- Z Index – The title Z Index
- Sprite Speed – The speed the title moves down screen
- Sprite End Position – Where the title ends up (Y coordinate)
- Sprite Font – The font of the title
- Font Colour – Title font colour
In this video demo, the mouse script is an old version of Jet’s Mouse System (RGSS3) using a custom-made cursor and the name of the font is "SF Gushing Meadow".
Note: Unfortunately, the sound quality in this video is staticky, which was due to a poor quality microphone.
